Carbone's Prime: A Culinary Delight in Rocky Hill, CT

Recently went with a group of 6, service was great. Food and drinks all came out in a timely manner. The cocktails, entrees, and desserts were outstanding. The fried calamari app however was bland and rubbery but the peppers and sauces were good. We'll definitely be returning.

I woke up this morning talking about how amazing this dining experience was. From the drinks, apps, dinner, and dessert we were blown away with each course. The ambience bolstered a fine dining feel yet comfortable and relaxed. Who ever was the designer, spot on! Sydney, our waitress, made our night top notch with her professional manner yet witty humor to boot. You can tell when a waitress is genuine about liking where she works. Thank you for a great time. We will be back bringing friends and family.

Because what better way to lift your spirits and tickle your taste buds than with a great meal on a cold, rainy night? Focaccia—Light, fluffy, golden-bottom perfection with a blend of thyme, rosemary, and salt. Served with whipped butter and olive oil, because why choose? La Cava Chicken—Bite-sized, bacon-wrapped chicken in a cherry pepper and citrus chili glaze. Sweet, spicy, savory, and tangy—like a fireworks finale for your taste buds. Calabrian Pork Chop—Crispy, golden-breaded bone-in chop with house-made sausage, cherry peppers, and a silky sherry lemon sauce. Crunchy, chewy, hot, sweet, and tangy in every bite. Every time I’ve gone to Carbone’s, it has been impeccable! Whether you’re at the bar or in the dining room, the service is always top notch with friendly and attentive staff. Atmosphere is warm and cozy. Their cocktails and wine list are fabulous and the food is phenomenal! You can immediately tell they strive to serve their guests with utmost care and regard to have a fantastic dining experience. Whether it’s for a special occasion or a casual outing, Carbone’s always delivers!

Came for my girlfriend’s birthday dinner. We were greeted immediately by a house who picked out a nice dining area for us. Customer service was excellent. Real good wine list, but I highly recommend you trying the Black Manhattan, thank me later. I ordered a pasta and my girlfriend ordered a salmon and we were highly impressed with the flavor and texture of our food. This restaurant definitely exceeded our expectations when it comes down to the food. I will most definitely be back to try different options on the menu. All in all this place is a must try. Well worth the prices trust me.

Came for birthday happy hour with a bestie best The tuna tartar , calamari, and drinks are so soo good! Waitstaff was funny and informative ...HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! GREAT PLACE

First time visiting. I took my mom here for dinner and had a lovely time! It was very pretty decor and loved the Christmas Trees. Our server, AJ, was extremely nice, had great recommendations and was attentive. The bread that was free was so tasty but did take a little too long to come out....it came after we started eating the appetizers. Overall the food was pretty good. We ordered two apps (meatballs and spinach artichoke dip). Meatballs were really good, the dip was okay - I prefer it to be thicker. The drinks we got were tasty. Our entrees - my mom got the salmon which she thought was delicious and I had the ribeye which was really good, but a little too fatty. We ended our meal with dessert - the chocolate lava cake which was super tasty and my mom got the torte which was good if you like that type of dessert (I prefer warm desserts). Overall because of the atmosphere, our waiter AJ, and the food being pretty tasty, I would definitely return.

I visited this restaurant for the first time on a Monday night, and it was packed. We usually go to the Bloomfield location since it's closer to where we live. The $45 prix fixe menu and half-price deal on certain wines likely contributed to the crowd. The restaurant itself is beautiful and would be a great place for a private party with its back bar and room. We ordered the Raw Bar Sampler, which was very weak and disappointing. The Caesar salad was drenched in dressing, and the halibut was extremely dry. It made me wonder if the chef was overworked or if there wasn't enough staff on a Monday night. So far, the Bloomfield location remains our favorite. In hindsight, we should have ordered their meatballs. Giovanni was our waiter and he was very attentive and hustled. He is plus to the restaurant.
